NYC UPPER EAST-SIDE BROWNSTONE (WORK IN PROGRESS)

Gut Renovation
New York, NY

New Photos coming soon!

This project was a complete gut renovation of an 1800’s brownstone on New York City’s Upper East Side. Our scope of work included full architecture and interior design services.

The five floor building received all new floors, walls, kitchen, bathrooms, custom lighting design, comprehensive HVAC and a newly designed outdoor garden. New windows were added to soundproof the building and maximize natural light throughout the home.

We re-introduced plaster & wood moulding, a new custom staircase, custom doors and window casings - all while staying true to the historic nature of the building. We retained and restored three original chestnut doors as requested by the client.

The existing basement was excavated to lower the floor and allow for full eight foot high ceilings, creating precious usable living space.

Our client now has a truly comfortable family home.
